Inspired by Lisa Spangler

The challenge this week at A Blog Named Hero is to make a card inspired by a Hero Artist.
I am inspired by all of them - so much choice!

I had a quick browse of the Hero Arts blog and made my decision. I have chosen a beautiful card made by the awesome Lisa Spangler. This is her gorgeous card...

And here is my take on Lisa's card ..

I stamped the background  in grey ink and then used gelatos to create the watercolour effect.
Then I made a discovery - I LOVE this flower image stamped in black with the colours poking through! So now I've fallen in love with this stamp all over again!
Next I added a bit of washi tape and used my favourite sentiment tape and sequins and mounted the panel on a white card base to finish it off.

I am also entering this in the SSS Wednesday challenge which is Anything Goes and the SSS Monday Challenge which is Not so Mellow Yellow (I hope I have enough yellow!).
Keep it Simple Challenge have a watercolour theme too, so I am also entering their challenge.
