have time to play with my goodies every day! My excuse is that I find
it very theraputic and it's cheaper than therapy! I do however have to do
something about the stockpile of cards I'm getting. I have been thinking
about selling some at a craft market, but it's taking that 1st step which
I find difficult. I'm scared that nobody will buy my card or of having
to sell them too cheaply. Does anyone have any advice.
I made this card for the 'White Out' challenge at A Blog Named Hero.
The challenge is to make a card with white car stock, no patterned paper or card.

I can't remember the name of this stamp,
but I thought it would make a cute Christmas
card. I've used water-colour pencils
and some pearl-ex powder for some shimmer.
I am also entering this in the Moxie Fab World
Christmas Card challenge.
Petty card, Jen. I like the delicate colours achieved with the watercolour pencils.
ReplyDeleteI'm having the same problem as you, accumulating cards, especially since I started blogging (I only used to make the cards I needed to make for myself and commissions prior to that), and since I finished work (my main source of non-commission sales).
If you work, have a box of cards for every occasion available. Or what about a local boutique/shop/hairdressers etc that you could approach for sale or return? Online? (Does Oz have an ebay equivalent?) (I need to practise what I'm preaching here!)
What a beauty! The watercolor effect is perfect! Gorgeous! Thanks for playing along at A Blog Named Hero!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great looking card, love the writing piece and the birdie.
