The stamp is from PSX, a company that no longer exists. I embossed the ornament and boughs in silver and coloured the image with a mix of distress ink and Twinkling H2Os trying to get a watercolour effect. The sentiment and stars are die cut craft metal from Add a Little Dazzle, left over from the Mixed Media challenge. I'm entering this in the Merry Monday Challenge, Virginia's View All about Metallics and Simon Monday Challenge. I just found out out the Dazzling Divas Challenge which is based on the inspiration photo or Anything Goes. Also entering Simon Wednesday challenge 'We're seeing stars' and Inkspirational Challenge - theme *Shine*. |

This is really pretty, Jenny! I love the watercolor underneath the pine bough...& the cool colors are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so gorgeous! I really love all of touches of silver, which give it such an elegant look. I also like how you made a drippy look around the pine bough, which reminded me of frost and lovely ice. The tiny stars are adorable and for using an old stamp, you did an outstanding job of making this card look totally fresh and modern! I especially like the silver "Merry" sentiment. This made me feel completely giddy about winter and the holidays. Thanks for sharing this with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the silver & blue Jenny :)
