Bird Love

I have another colourful card to share today.  Butterfly stamps have always been my favourite, but now I have an equal love for bird stamps and find it hard to resist them. This one is from Penny Black and is perfect for use with distress markers.

I used a stencil and distress inks for the background on text dp. Then I removed the stencil and sponged and blended the colours.  I coloured the Penny Black stamp (the sweetest sound) with distress markers, spritzed and stamped. I went over the stamped image lightly with a wet brush to intensify the colour.
 I'm  entering the Fusion Card Challenge as I was inspired by the colours and Virginia's View Challenge #14 Layers and Dimension.

    This is fabulous, Jenny! I've just bought the birds of a feather die after seeing all your gorgeous creations with that - now I think this stamp will be going on the list. I love the colouring and stencilling on the background too.
