I have been playing around with a gorgeous stamp set from Altenew, called A Beautiful Day. The bloom stunning and I will have a few cards to share soon. This is the first and my favourite ...
I stamped the flower with the darkest of the Altenew pink inks and have coloured with a mix of watercolour paints, including Windsor Newton and Gansai Tambi. The Leaves were stamped and coloured with distress inks. I went for the brighter foliage to mirror the Inspiration photo from the Altenew February Challenge. At first I thought the background paper was a bit to bold, but I've decided I like it - it's this year's Pantone colour and the stripes add interest. |
I'm sharing my card with the following challenges:-
