I won some neon Gelatos in a challenge a year or so ago and hadn't as yet used them, so this month's theme at the CAS Mix Up Challenge seemed like the perfect opportunity to christen them! I'm Guest Designer this month and I have had so many ideas on how to use Crayons! I love the CAS Mix Up challenge, because it always encourages me to try new or forgotten techniques and get out supplies I'd nearly forgotten about.

I'd like to thank Bonnie and Loll for inviting me to be Guest Designer. I have had lots of fun and been very inspired by the theme. Now I hope you'll pop over to see the creations of the Design Team and join in the fun. You can link your card up here.

Gorgeous neon Gelatos on canvas paper, butterfly..Jenny. So pretty placed over the corner die cut. I agree, a great challenge to bring out NBUS or rarely used mixed media products. I chose my neglected Distress Crayons for the challenge. TFS and so pleased you joined us this month as our Guest Designer. Look forward to more of your beautiful creations. Hugs
ReplyDeleteYour butterfly is GORGEOUS, Jenny! Love the blended colors and it's beautiful perched over the lacy die cut! Thanks so much for joining our CAS Mix Up team as Guest Designer this month!

Congrats on the Guest Designer spot at CAS Mix Up this month, Jenny! Your butterfly is gorgeous with the neon Gelatos! The black background peeking through the die-cut negative strikes a great color balance with the bright butterfly. Hideko xx
