I couldn't resist making a Twofer with one of my fave Penny Black Stamps.
I used an Altenew cover plate to emboss the leaf background and then coloured with a blue wash and covered with Nuvo Glacier Paste. The Butterfly was coloured with Zig Markers and fussy cut. I stamped and white embossed the sentiment on vellum. To finish I added some red and pink splatter on the background and a touch of bling.
Stamps: Penny Black 'Trio of Butterflies'; Altenew 'Leaf Clusters'
Cover Plate: Altenew 'Striped Leaf'
This time I stamped the butterfly with gold ink and made a mask to stamp the dotty background and some vintage images and sponge around the edge. I used Zigs again to colour the butterfly and add some splatter.
The base card was covered with patterned paper.
Definitely not my usual colours, but very sunny!
Stamps: Penny Black 'Trio of Butterflies'; Prima (Vintage stamps); Kaisercraft (Dotty Background'
Die: Lawnfawn 'Celebrate'
I'm sharing at the following:-
Theme: Watercolour (Mixed Media)
