I made another card today for the Flower Challenge. They are celebrating their 4th Birthday and have lots of prizes on offer.
I tried to think of a subtle way to add circles and decided to emboss lots of circles using dies and cutting the centre circle. I'm not sure if it did end up subtle, but I used the same stamp as yesterday to make this card.
The flower and leaves were stamped with Delicata Gold Ink and the image was coloured with Twinkling H2Os. It looks different from yesterdays card, because I used normal cardstock, instead of watercolour paper. I left the leaves un-coloured to make the card more CAS. Then I added some more leaves cut from champagne glitter paper.
Stamps: Altenew Beauty Within, Label Love
Dies: Lil Inkers Stitched Circles; Tim Holtz Sizzix Wildflower Stems 1
I'm sharing at the following challenges:-
That embossed circle background has worked really well. What a great idea, it really enhances the flower xx

ReplyDeleteThis is such a cool idea!! Brilliant way to add circles to your design and they make a gorgeous, crisp backdrop to your beautifully coloured flower. Love all the hints of gold, especially those glittery leaves. Another incredible card and thank you so much for coming back again to The Flower Challenge!
