Seize the Birthday - #320 CAS + DIES

Hi there Crafty Friends! It's time for another Seize The Birthday Challenge.

Glenda is our host for this challenge and she wants us to  create a 'CAS Birthday Card with Die Cuts'.

If you are not in to our "toppings" option, you can make any kind of  Birthday Card.

I smooshed Alcohol Inks over a piece of Holographic silver card stock and then die cut the Dragonfly and cut the co-ordinating strips for a border. I used a favourite Embossing Folder for the background. The sentiment was stamped, silver embossed and die cut.
Dies: Dragonfly Alexandra Renke , Sentiment Pinkfresh Studio
Stamp: Sentiment Pinkfresh Studio
Embossing Folder: Stampin Up

Our Surprise Party Guest is Helen Brammer from Helen's Craft Haven.  We also have Valerie from Scrap de Vava joining us as Guest Designer.

You can see Helen's gorgeous card and more from our  talented Design Team at  Seize the Birthday Challenge blog.

I hope you'll find time to join us. Remember, the topping is optional, so if you prefer Anything Goes, that's fine,  so long as it's birthday themed.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

  4. Wow, your dragonfly is gorgeous Jenny. Great idea to use those thin paper strips from the same smooshed paper. I will have to try this technique.
