A cupcake makes everything better, so a Twofer should make us extra happy! Yes, the theme at Twofer Card Challenge is 'Cakes/Cupcakes'
I used the same stamp set and designer paper pad for both cards.
I did a bit of paper piecing in this card. I used kraft paper and coloured the toppings with Zigs and Karin Markers.
I'm not sure about this one, maybe chocolate wasn't the best colour option for this shape cupcake:)
I added some sprinkles with Liquid pearls. Did that make it better???
You can't tell from the pic, but I used Acetate for the window.

Such festive cupcake cards, Jenny! The trio look so pretty against the black and white dots! The single cupcake is the star of the show and your cake recipes make my mouth water! Thanks so much for sharing with us at The Twofer Challenge!
ReplyDeleteGreat twofer, but I do see what you mean about the chocolate one, but it is what chocolate cake looks like so who cares. Thanks for sharing the recipe too xx
ReplyDeleteYummy looking cards Jenny and I love the DSP you used...definitely looks like a celebration going on on both cards!! And both your chocolate and banana cakes sound delicious...thanks so much for sharing them and your beautiful cards with us at The Twofer Challenge!! :0)
ReplyDeleteHmmm - love chocolate cake no matter the size - fabulous cup cakes Jenny. I have a similar "melt, throw and hope" chocolate cake recipe. To cook it in the microwave, I substitute 1/3 of the flower with wholemeal/wholewheat flour and it becomes really soft and moist, not soggy/steam-pudding like
ReplyDeleteStay safe
Blessings
Maxine
