Hey there! I had some fun today making cards without too much planning. I was inspired by a few challenges.
First up, a CAS card...
I used Karin Markers again to stamp and colour the die-cut. I spritzed a bit for a soft wash.
I embossed the frame with a die and popped the panel on top. The sentiment is stamped with Delicata Gold.

My next card was inspired by the colours at Color Hues Challenge...
I used various hues of Orange and Red Karin Markers and added some white highlights. I used Grey for the leaves to keep it neutral. This gorgeous floral stamp is from Gina K and the sentiment from Stampin Up.

We are neighbors in the gallery at Color Hues so I wanted to stop by and say Hi Neighbor. I always enjoy your work and these poppies are exquisite. The use of grey and added highlights is so spot on.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful florals---and the gray works perfectly for the leaves! I like the die cut frame as well. Thanks for joining us at Color Hues!

ReplyDeleteJenny, this post has truly inspired me today! These cards are wonderful. I love that you can see all the texture on your seahorse and the colors are terrifically sea like. That sounds funny...but I am leaving it. LOL. As for your card for Color Hues, it's gorgeous! The coloring is so well done, the intricate black and white frame, and the grey leaves are just so well thought of an executed. A real scroll stopper. Thanks for supporting our challenge at Color Hues! Take care!
