Time Out Challenge #240 Sportive

Hi there Crafty Friends. Welcome back Crafty Friends. It's time for a new Time Out Challenge. This week we challenge you to be 'SPORTIVE'.

You can have some fun with this word. Read the definition below as it means more than simply being sporty. I leant towards 'being playful' and there's nothing cuter than a playful Panda, except maybe 5 Pandas!

I've used an old stamp set from The Ton Stamps for the Pandas, adding a touch of shading and detail with Copic Markers and then fussy cut.  In the background I stencilled some leaves (SSS stencil)in matching ink and splattered some Nuvo shimmer. The tree frame die is from Hello Bluebird.

The Card Concept #1(Patriotic Picnic)

Hey there Crafty Friends! I'm a bit late to share, but better late than never! A new challenge started yesterday at The Card Concept and The picture and colours should give you lots of scope!

I was definitely inspired by the colours, patterns  and the vase of flowers to create a Clean & Layered card.

I used a gorgeous stamp/die set from Pinkfresh Studio for the florals, a Hello Bluebird background stamp and some yummy designer paper from Kaisercraft.

Remember, an inspiration photo is a starting point for inspiration. Will it be the colours, the overall theme, the texture, the actual items and/or something else that will inspire your card?

I hope you'll visit The Card Concept Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the team has created and will be inspired to play along in the challenge with us.

Choose a design style (or combine styles), create a card, and in your blog post, let us know what inspired you from the photo, what style and/or styles you chose and don't forget to display our inspiration photo and link back to our challenge :-)

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

THE CARD CONCEPT #195a/b Floral Spring or Garden Birds

Hi there Crafty Friends! It's time for a double  choice challenge at The Card Concept which means we post 2 photos and you can choose which photo you prefer, or you could create two separate cards, one for each photo!

I was inspired by the napkin and table cloth in the first photo to make a Clean & Layered Card.

The gingham background was made with a stamp from Hello Bluebird. The Stampers Anonymous flowers and leaves were stamped randomly and coloured with Copic Markers.
To finish, I added a bold sentiment from Altenew.

Remember, an inspiration photo is exactly that- a starting point for inspiration.

52 CHRISTMAS CARD THROWDOWN (APR THEME )

Hi there Crafty Friends. It's time for the 3rd challenge of the March at 52CCT with Goga as our host.  She wants us to make a Christmas card for a child. I had fun creating a scene with lots of critters.

I used patterned paper in the background and all the stamped images were coloured with Prismacolor pencils.
All stamps and dies from Hello Bluebird except The Snow slopes which are from Uniquely Creative.

I hope you'll visit the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown blog to see what the rest of the team created with these colours and then be inspired to join in the challenge!
