Time Out Challenge #280 Be Inspired by

Hi there Crafty Friends. We have a really fun challenge for you tat Time Out. We want you to be Inspired By: Your favourite thing to do in January.

It's Summer where I live, so that means lots of entertaining and drinking lots of G&T's on those barmy evenings!

I used a gorgeous(NBUS) stamp set from Visible Image to create my artsy card.
I used my new sets of Zig Markers to do the colouring. I love all of their new (to me) colours.

(activity where you live - sport, drink, hobby, place to go, book genre... This allows our southern hemisphere players to think summer, and our northern hemisphere players to think winter or whatever season they enjoy in January)

This winner of our challenge will win a $25 credit from our wonderful sponsor - Lawn Fawn and will also have the chance to be Guest Designer in a future challenge.

Our Guest Designer this week is Verena Shapiro of Simple_Stamper on Instagram.

You can see Verena's card and more inspiration from our  fabulous DT at the TIME OUT CHALLENGES blog.
I hope you have the opportunity to join in our challenge.

THE CARD CONCEPT #197 A/B Industrial Modern or Nature Calls

Hi there Crafty Friends! It's time for the second challenge challenge of the month at The Card Concept which means we post 2 photos and you can choose which photo you prefer, or you could create two separate cards, one for each photo!

I was inspired by the first photo and colours  #197a to make a Clean & Layered Industrial style card.

I used a piece of patterned paper for the background and tone on tone stencilling for the blue panel. The typewriter was stamped with a Deep Red cling stamp. I fussy cut the image and inked the edges with Distress Ink.  The sentiment is from Visible Image and the stencil from Paper Rose Studio.

Remember, an inspiration photo is exactly that- a starting point for inspiration. Will it be the colours, the overall theme, the texture, the actual items and/or something else that will inspire your card?

I hope you'll visit The Card Concept Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the team has created and will be inspired to play along in the challenge with us.

Choose a design style (or combine styles), create a card, and in your blog post, let us know what inspired you from the photo, what style and/or styles you chose and don't forget to display our inspiration photo and link back to our challenge :-)

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

CAS COLOURS & SKETCHES #434 sketch CHALLENGE

Hi there Crafty Friends! It's time for another challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches and we have Bhavya as our host this month. She has given us a fun sketch to play with this week.

I bought this stamp set because my Daughter's Boyfriend is a Robotics Engineer.
I stamped the Coding in a light grey and then layered with the 'Beeps & Happy Birthday'
The Robot was coloured with Zig Markers and fussy-cut.
Stamps: Visible Image Robot Data

I'm sharing my card at the following challenges:-

I hope you'll pop on over to our blog to see the wonderful creations from our Design Team and be inspired to join us in the challenge.

Happy BOT-day

Hi there. Well Spring has sprung in Australia, so everyone is looking forward to a lessening of restrictions and hopefully getting to enjoy the sunshine.

My daughter's boyfriend is a Robotics Engineer and I recently bought a fun set from Visible Image in order to make a special card for him. There's a cute smaller robot as well, which will be great for my Great Nephews birthdays.

I sponged Speckled Egg, Broken China & Faded Jeans Distress Oxide over the white card-stock. Then I sponged Faded Jean DO through a stencil. I stamped the 'coding' with black in sponged Black Soot DO around the edge. I coloured the Robot with Copic Markers and the sentiment with the co-ordinating DO inks.
Stamps: Visible Image Robot Data; Lawn Fawn (speech bubble)
Stencil: Visible Image Short Circuit

I'm sharing at these challenges:-
