Hi Crafty Friends. Branka is our host for June at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge. The first challenge of the month is always a sketch challenge. Here is Branka's sketch for this month. Well, I was a little bit unsure of how to proceed, but I rose to the challenge and even made it a shaker!
I double embossed the background in the window with Falling Snow and Birch Trees, colouring the trees with Distress Ink. I added a couplke of birds in there too. The shaker was made with an acetate bag.
The Birch Tree die cut was coloured with Karin Markers.
The front panel was also dry embossed.
Stamp: Hero Arts Birds
Die: Uniquely Creative Birch Trees
EF: Stampin Up Falling Snow, Birch Trees,
You can stretch this out, or use different shapes, as long as we can see the basic sketch in your card.
I hope you'll visit the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown blog to see what our fabulous Design Team have created with this sketch. Looking forward to seeing your cards in the gallery:)
A fabulous use of the sketch Jenny, and a stunning card as a result. Love the dimension the image on the back of the shaker element gives.
