Rustic Fuchsia Card & Hot Air Balloon Birthday

Hi there Crafty Friends. Here is a card inspired by the theme at The Flower Challenge, which is to use layers.

I embossed the brick background, sponged with ink and then cut it up to place in the corners. The beautiful Fuchsia stamp is from Clearly Besotted and was stamped and coloured with Zig Markers.
The sentiment stamp and die are from Papertrey Ink
I'm also sharing at:-

TIME OUT CHALLENGE #261 INSPIRED BY WORDS

Welcome back Crafty Friends. It's time for a new Time Out Challenge and this week we want you to be inspired by words...

"I'm a romantic. I live for long, dreamy walks down the craft aisle" - Scrapbook.com

I hadn't yet used the Spellbinders Shopping Trolley die, so this seemed like the perfect chance. I didn't however have any craft/art themed stamps or dies that were the right scale, so my card is a bit like a caricature:)

I used silver mirror foil card for the trolley. The paint and brushes images from Altenew were coloured with Altenew Metallic Watercolour Paints.  The sentiment is an oldie from CasUal Friday.

This winner of our challenge will win a $25 credit from our generous sponsor - DoodleBugs and will also have the chance to be Guest Designer in a future challenge.

You can see more inspiration from our  fabulous DT at the TIME OUT CHALLENGES blog.
I hope you have the opportunity to join in our challenge.

THE CARD CONCEPT #206 APRIL FLOWERS

It's time for another challenge at The Card concept. The theme is APRIL FLOWERS and I'm sure the beautiful  photo will spark your creativity, or if not, you can make a card using the colours or just whatever the theme means  to you.

I was inspired by the colours and the pretty colours in the photo to make a Clean and Layered Card.

I coloured a piece of Paper Vellum with Nuvo Shimmer Powders. When dry I dry embossed the Vellum with Altenew Intricate Tiles 3D EF. The flowers have been made with Altenew Bitterroot Stencil and Dies and Altenew Inks.

Remember, an inspiration photo is exactly that- a starting point for inspiration. Will it be the colours, the overall theme, the texture, the actual items and/or something else that will inspire your card?

I hope you'll visit The Card Concept Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the team has created and will be inspired to play along in the challenge with us.

Choose a design style (or combine styles), create a card, and in your blog post, let us know what inspired you from the photo, what style and/or styles you chose and don't forget to display our inspiration photo and link back to our challenge.

I am also sharing my card at the following challenges:-
