Altenew Striped Florals

Hi! It's me again! Three posts in one day:)

A very simple CAS design using Altenew Striped Florals and Altenew Inks.

I'm sharing my card at the following challenge:-

Jingle All the Way

Here is a card inspired by the theme at Christmas Kickstart Challenge...

The bell was stamped with black, clear embossed and coloured with silver paint pen and Zig Markers.  The foliage was made with die-cuts from Tim Holtz and coloured with Distress Inks.
Stamps: Stamplorations Holiday Sketch Christmas Bells; Stamplorations Holiday Sketch Christmas Candles.
Die: Stamplorations Rectangle
Paper: Kaisercraft

Theme: Jingle All the Way

Aussie Style Christmas Part 1

I absolutely love making winter scenes and most of my Christmas cards reflect this, but living in Melbourne, Australia, it does seem a bit strange. So this year I'm making a concerted effort to make some Aussie style Christmas cards. Here is my first card ...

Kaisercraft have a gorgeous collection called 'Under the Gum Leaves',  so I have combined some of their cut outs with stamping for this card. I stamped the wreath and sentiment (which were part of a magazine freebie stamp set) and then arranged the Cockatoo and native foliage.

Alcohol Ink Christmas Tree

Here's another Christmas card...

The stamps and dies are from Kaisercraft. I die-cut the tree from an Alcohol Ink background.
The deer was stamped in black on silver card stock and the sentiment is silver embossed. I used one of my favourite embossing folders, from Stampin Up added some bling.

Christmas Florals

I've been very inspired to make Christmas cards lately and I think I may have met my quota already:) This one was     inspired by this month's Less is More challenge.

This stamp set was a magazine freebie and it has so many great stamps. I stamped the large petals with Spun Sugar and the small petals with Worn Lipstick and Festive Berries Distress Inks.

I decided to try some different colour combos and made 2 more cards.

It's Christmas in the Heart

It's fun sometimes to just create without a plan. This is one of those occasions...

To begin I stamped Penny Black 'Winter Song', masking to remove part of the image.  Next I coloured the trees, sponged the background and snow drifts and blended with a wet brush.
When dry, I stamped the critters  (Papertrey Ink) and sentiment (Kaisercraft). I added some more snow and the wooden snowflake and then matted the panel with some patterned paper.

A Rainbow of Butterflies

The butterflies were coloured with Copic Markers and Silver Wink of Stellar. I outlined the images with a very light colour to make them pop. I added some splatter and seqins for extra interest and bling. Originally I was going to leave the card all white, but decided the black edge looked better.
The stamps are all from Stamplorations.

Rainbow Blooms

I was inspired to make a watercolour card for this month's Altenew Challenge.

I applied ink to the Altenew's 'A Study in Watercolour', spritzed, stamped and blended a bit more on the paper. I added a bit of bling and matted with gold paper and Kraft base card.  I can't remember which set the sentiment is from.

Add GOLD/SILVER

CAS Blossom

It's Blossom time in Australia, so I thought I'd make another card for The Flower Challenge.

I used an old stamp set from Clearly Besotted, called 'Happy Everything. I coloured the bloom with Copic Markers, highlighting the stamen with glitter pen.

Sweets Twofer

I'm sharing a twofer today. This month the theme is 'SWEETS'.  I love icy poles, otherwise known as call Ice Pops or Ice Lollies, so this is my twofer...

Yummm!!! This is my favourite type of Icy Pole!  I stamped and clear embossed the image & sentiment from Concord & 9th (Sweet & Cool) and coloured with Zig Markers and an Aquabrush.
The flower is from The Greetery.

I thought it would be fun to make a shaker card for the second card. I sponged Shaded Lilac on the image and then covered it with Nuvo Glimmer paste.  The sentiment is from Flora & Fauna.

I'm sharing my card at the following:-

I decided to make another shaker card using a set I bought at a local craft shop.

I used some patterned paper for the front of the card, sponging the edges to tie in all the colours.
The stamp/die set are from Jellibean soup/Hampton Art called 'Jar'. The inks are a combination of Distress and Altenew.
