I wanted to created an aged look, so I painted around the image with Antique linen and then stamped the sentiment with Walnut stain. The pink paint is Windsor & Newton Cotman Permanent rose 502 Series 1 A. Ha ha do I sound like I know what I'm talking about?! The green paint is an el cheapo from my kids stash. I added a touch of walnut stain to the centre of the flowers.
I know this is very amateur, but it is so much fun playing with watercolours and it's even more fun using them with stamps!
I'm entering this in the Hero Arts Birthday Challenge
(floral) and I will also enter this in the Moxie FabWorld Happy for Hexagon challenge.
