Casing pamela Week 2/Take 2 and Another NBUS

Yes!  I know! Two posts within an hour! I went back to make another card for the Case Study challenge, because I wanted to go back to my original idea.

You should have seen me lying on the grass taking this photo, with 2 dogs on top of me!!!
I used the same sentiment, from CAS-ual Friday (Wonderful  Words), as the last card and this time I broke out another NBUS from Penny Black. I have been dying to use this stamp and I'm not sure why I haven't until now!
The sentiment is embossed in white and the PB Softly is black embossed and then coloured with prisma colour pencils. I added the white hi-lights (Kathy Raconsin style) for a bit more pop.

Since I've used a NBUS stamp I have another entry for Darnell's fun challenge!

I'm also entering this in the Simon Says Monday Anything Goes Challenge.

  4. Haha, bet the dogs thought it was a fun game :) This is gorgeous - the pencil colouring stands out so well on the kraft.

  5. I'm in awe at how effortlessly you muse! And make it totally your own, and it's always gorgeous! Love the white accents. I have cats that think it's playtime when I take photos, hence blur every time! Love the grassy shot!

  6. Oh, I do LOVE this and am pinning it, Jenny! At first glance, I thought of Christmas tree lights and then to see that they are flowers for summer makes them seem like magic!! Against that kraft with the white border ~ mwah!! Thank you for your enthusiastic support of my NBUS Challenge and for joining in again! Hugs, Darnell

  9. What we don't do to make our cards photograph well. ;) I'm still picturing it. I have this stamp and used it several times but now I'm inspired to do one on kraft cardstock like you did. It looks wonderful.
