It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It's 'Take a Theme' month  at Craft Stamper and the theme is 'SNOW & ICE'. I love seeing magical scenes with lots of snow - maybe because we don't get it here. So here is my first attempt at a snowy scene...

I began by flicking some frisket over the watercolour panel and then masked off the slopes with post it notes and sponged the shadows and background. Then I stamped the trees and and touched up the shadows and trees with watercolour. Then I removed the frisket, stamped and fussy cut the deer. To finish I splattered a mixture of perfect pearls and water.
The stamps are from Papertrey Ink, Penny Black and Wplus 9.

I am also entering the Simon Wednesday - Anything Goes Challenge and the Simon Monday Challenge - 'O' Christmas Tree.
