Mixed Media with Concord & 9th

I'm back with my 3rd card for this month's Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge - I've been really enjoying playing with my Concord & 9th products!


I began by stencilling with gold dimensional paint on white card stock. Next I coloured various pieces of watercolour paper with a combination of Distress Inks, Zig Markers and Brushos, using the 'smooshing' and 'splash' methods. I then die cut the leaves and butterfly and stamped the sentiment. All dies and the stamp are from Concord & 9th and the stencil is from Memory Box.

    Loving the wonderful mixed media elements on this fabulous card. The colour choice is great, the techniques fabulous and then the pop of gold.....Also like how you kept the die cut butterfly white. Even thought you 'forgot' the occasion the person who receives this is going to love it. Thanks for adding this stunning card to the gallery at The CAS Mix Up Challenge x.

    Wow..Love your stenciling with gold background for all your colored die cut images, Jenny. Love your butterfly die cut from a piece of Splash Watercoloring. So many beautiful mixed media elements, yet still a CAS design. TFS my friend and joining us at CAS Mix Up and CAS Watercolour. Hugs...

    Ooooh, I think this is my favorite of your WCMC9 entries! My goodness it is beautiful! That gold paint is such a beautiful backdrop to your focal point. Beautifully done!!!
