Christmas in July

It's that time of year again! I've often wondered about the origins of this celebration. I  thought it was a Southern Hemisphere tradition, because we want to celebrate in cooler months, but then I read that Americans and Europeans want to celebrate in warmer times! In truth, it's probably just the brainchild of some clever marketing person:) Anyway, it's a good excuse to have a party and even better, a great reason to make Christmas cards!

The stamps are from Stamplorations and I used Tusukineko Delicata Golden Glitz ink and Zig Markers to colour the image. The die is also fromStamplorations.

  4. I love Christmas in July celebrations for card challenges. It helps to motivate me more to get moving on making more Christmas cards. Only 5 months until Christmas, Jenny! :) LOVE this combination of the yellow gold and pink. Delicata gold is my favourite shade of gold. This stamp is so beautiful with the combination of text and gorgeous poinsettia. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Christmas! xx
