Dimensional Die-cuts

I'm back at the beach house for a few days and I've been busy trying to get a headstart on some of my DT cards and also play in some challenges. This one combines the CAS Christmas and the CAS Mix Up challenges.

I coloured the Tim Holtz/Sizzix tree with Zig Markers and Distress Inks and then embossed 4 times with Opal thick embossing powder. I stamped the snowflake, sentiment and fox, fussy cutting the fox and mounting with dimensional tape. I added a shadow to balance the scene.

I hope you can see the variation of greens in the pic.

I'm sharing my card at the following challenges:-

  4. I love the shade of green and the gloss of the fir tree, Jenny! Looking at this gorgeous tree, I believe layering Opal thick heat-embossing 4 times is worth the time and effort. The added shadow anchors the tree and the pretty fox. Great design.
