Warm and Cozy Christmas

Well I won't have any problems staying 'Warm and Cozy',  I'll be trying to stay 'Chilled and Hydrated!!!' It's usually too warm to have a Traditional Christmas Dinner, so we usually have salads with our Turkey or other meat. Before children, my husband and I used to take the dogs to the beach and have a swim on Christmas morning, before it got too hot:)

My favourite Christmas was spent in Scotland, with all of my Husband's family staying together in a farm house. There was lots of snow and blue skies - perfect!

I made 2 cards inspired by this theme. The first card is CAS, so I'll share at
CAS Christmas Card Challenge.

I stamped the Christmas Tree from Penny Black 'Prancers', painted the background with Distress Inks  and decorated with a bit of bling:)  The white panel was embossed with a We R Memory Keepers Folder. The window is mounted with foam tape.  The sentiment is from Penny Black 'Banner Sentiments'.

I'm  sharing this card at the following:-

Theme: CHRISTMAS

My second card is primarily made with Kaisercraft papers. I had a brainwave to use the pp with lights for inside the window and I love the look.  The window die is Ultimate Crafts, the tree from Kaisercraft and the deer from Impression Obsession. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

I'm entering the following challenges:-

Thanks for visiting!

  7. LOVE the first card with the beautiful decorated tree in the window and the embossed lines for the house siding. Such a beautiful CAS design.

Your second card is gorgeous with the mix of papers. So clever to use the lights paper in the background. And I love the ornate design of the window. xx
