The Card Concept #212 Christmas Wreath (Dec '24)

 Hi there Crafty Friends! It's the last challenge of 2024 for The Card Concept. 

I took my inspiration from bothe the colours and the photo. I used one of my favourite SSS coordinating stamp/stencil/dies sets set - Holiday Sprigs and Dies and Hotfoil plates from Spellbinders. I went bold using bright red shimmer card!

I was inspired by the photo and colours to make a Clean & Layered Card. I loved the traditional look of the photo.

Remember, an inspiration photo is exactly that- a starting point for inspiration. Will it be the colours, the overall theme, the texture, the actual items and/or something else that will inspire your card?

Penny Black Saturday Challenge Dec '24

 Hi there. This year seems to have really flown and I can't believe it's December! It's also the first Saturday of the month, which means it's time for a new Penny Black Saturday Challenge. 

 This month our theme is...

                                        'ANYTHING GOES' or Optional: 'WINTER WONDERLAND'

I used an old favourite - Penny Black Berry Bevy and the bird is fussy cut from PB Winter Song.

Happy Birthday Lochie

 Hi there Crafty Friends! I had to make a rush card for my Son's Birthday today (it always creeps up on me, being in December). I rummaged through my ufo stash and found the red watercolour background.

My son is an avid Liverpool supporter and is travelling to the UK in January to see some Premier League games, so the red background was perfect for the Visible Image 'Kick Off Your Birthday' stamps.

I outlined the stamped image with white gel pen to make it standout on the dark background.

Time Out Challenge #278 Photo Inspiration

  Hi there Crafty Friends! The countdown is on and this is the last challenge for Time Out in 2024 . We have a festive photo inspiration for you at Time Out Challenges! 

The sky was created with a background stamp from Hero Arts. I think the die is from Alexandra Renke. I'm a bit disorganised with my Christmas dies as I've thrown them all in one box!

Just for Fun

 Hi there Crafty Friends! I've been so busy with DT stuff lately, I haven't had time to create for fun. So today I took some time to simply play. 

Sometimes I forget that it's ok to mix and match products from different companies - but this card is made up of bits and pieces from my unfinished stash box (UFO). The ornament is Concord & 9th, the sentiment from Poppystamps, the Embossing Folder from Spellbinder and I'm not sure about the snowflakes.
