Hi there Crafty Friends! It's time for a new Time Out Challenge and this week we want you to be Inspired by: Your Favourite Song.
Two of my favourite Australian Singer/Song Writers are Missy Higgins and Nick Cave, so I've made a card inspired by a song from each artist.
The only times I've experienced falling snow, it seemed to be almost silent, but when I looked for videos, it sounded like heavy rain. Maybe my Northern friends can enlighten me.
Anyway these songs inspired me to make a White on White card.
I've used an Embossing Folders from Stampin Up and Simon Says Stamp. The dies are from Memory Box Co, Papertrey Ink and Alexandra Renke. I can't remember the origin of the sentiment.
The winner of our challenge will win a $25 credit from our wonderful sponsor -Lawn Fawn and also have the chance to be Guest Designer in a future challenge.
Jenny, your beautiful white on white card is such a great take on both songs! Very clever idea! I almost want to make a Christmas card now! There are so many perfect little details and die cuts in this design and they are so perfectly put together!
ReplyDeleteLovely white on white card Jenny and great song too! I hadn't heard it before but it's definitely going onto my list to play again - funnily enough I was just listening to another of Nick Cave's songs days ago (Eliza Rose featuring Kylie Minogue) which is one my favourites! Hugs, Kate!
ReplyDeleteI just love white on white for a card and yours is stunning! So special with that beautiful little scene and a perfect nod to your lovely choice of songs. They work together so well. Love it! I hope you're starting to improve and you're enjoying your weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteI really like both of these artists, Jenny. They are often played on my favorite Public Radio Station. I love all of that gorgeous white and all of the wonderful details. The gold sentiment is perfect. Wonderful make for our challenge.
ReplyDeleteThis challenge has been so educational for me. So many songs I have never heard of but then again I'm stuck in the mid-century music. Your all white card is delightful, Jenny. I love all the details in your snowy scene.
ReplyDeleteAn exquisite card Jenny - an amazingly detailed wee scene inside the beautifully embossed 'frame'
