PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE REMINDER Dec'25

It's the 3rd Saturday of the month, so we have more inspiration for you at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.  It's also my last DT post for the year.

The challenge this month is...

'Anything Goes'
or
Snowman/Snow'

I stamped Penny Black Scarlet Majesty with Antique Linen and then coloured with Prismacolor Pencils. Some texture was then added with a Sampin Up EF. The sentiment is an oldie from PB.

You can see more inspiration from our wonderful  Guest Designer,  Cindy and some of our DT at the PBSC blog. I hope you have the opportunity to join in our challenge.

If you'd like to be considered for a guest designer spot for a future challenge, please add 'GDT' after your name on the link-up...and remember to check back to see if you've been chosen!

Wishing you and your families a Magical Holiday Season and Happy New Year!

Christmas Cards

Hi there Crafty Friends! I've recently made a few Christmas cards, but haven't got around to sharing. So today I'll include a few of those.

Card 1
This card was inspired by The Card Concept photo (houses) and colours. The background stamp and sentiment are from Pinkfresh Studio and the Santa from MFT.

Card 2
This time I used the other Santa from MFT, an embossing folder from Altenew, window die from Poppystamps and sentiment from Pinkfresh Studio.

Card 3
To make this card, I inked a piece of metallic silver card-stock and embossed with a glitter embossing powder.
The tree and dome dies are from Alexander Renke. The sentiment is from Penny Black.

Card 4
I used an Alcohol Ink background behind the Hero Arts die cut. The embossing folder is from Stampin Up.

Card 5
I love this adorable bear from Poppystamps and I coloured him with Altenew Inks. The embossing folder is from  Simon Says Stamp, the frame die from Penny Black and the sentiment from Hello Bluebird.

TIME OUT CHALLENGE #303 PHOTO INSPIRATION

Hi there Crafty Friends! It's time for a new challenge at Time Out. This is our last challenge for the year.

I hope you like the photo for this challenge. It was taken by our lovely teamie, Ishani at a wedding. Remember you can be inspired by any element or colour, so have some fun!

I zoomed in on the photo and saw the gorgeous henna decoration on the hands and arms and I thought this old coveted paper from Basic Grey would emulate that. The flower was inspired by the gorgeous trim on Ishani's dress.
I coloured the Penny Black flower with Prismacolor Pencils and blended with Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen.

Here's a closer look at the photo.

Our wonderful sponsor, Birch  Press Design, is generously offering a $20 store credit as a prize to our Challenge Winner as chosen by the Design Team.  Our winner will also get invited to join us as Guest Designer for a future challenge.

We are joined by  Trina Pham of Phamtastic Designas Guest Designer. You can see her gorgeous card
and more inspiration from our fabulous DT at the TIME OUT CHALLENGE blog.
