Time Out Challenge #309 - Theme Chalenge

Hi there Crafty Friends! IA new challenge has begun at Time Out and it's a Theme Challenge

The theme is to 'USE A CLEAR ELEMENT OR ELEMENTS ON YOUR PROJECT'.

Think sequins, enamel dots, gemstones, stickers, and nylon thread,  to name a few. Also, clear elements like acetate sheets or window plastic can be used on handmade cards to create shaker windows, floating elements, interactive overlays, or full transparent card bases.

I have made a Shaker Card, but instead of using Acetate, I recycled a clear bag, which is much easier and less fiddly.

Well this is a riot of colours, isn't it?!!
Although I toned the colours down a bit.

The cute stamp set is from Stamping Bella. I coloured the images with Polychromos. I had to add the strip of patterned paper to give the girl somewhere to stand:)
The arch die is from The Greetery and the strip sentiment is from Uniquely Creative.
The background of the window was smooshed with Distress Inks.

You can see more inspiration from our talented Guest Designer, Verena Shapiro of Simple Stamper and the rest of our fabulous DT at the TIME OUT CHALLENGES blog.
I hope you have the opportunity to join in our challenge.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

Seize The Birthday#322 Use Green as Main Colour

Hi there Crafty Friends! It's time for another Seize The Birthday Challenge.

JoAnn  is our host for this challenge and with St Patrick's Day coming up soon, she wants us to Use Green as Main ColourOf course, if you are not in to our "toppings" option, you can make any kind of  Birthday Card.

I took this opportunity to make a card that would suit any Gender.
The background stamp is from Penny Black. I used various shades of green Karin Markers.
The Dragonfly die is an old fave, also from Penny Black.
The sentiment is another oldie from Taylored Expressions.

We have a new Surprise Party Guest joining us this month - the talented  Jennie Maier.
We also have Valerie from INKspirations  joining us as Guest Designer.

You can see their gorgeous cards and more from our  talented Design Team at  Seize the Birthday Challenge blog.

I hope you'll find time to join us. Remember, the topping is optional, so if you prefer Anything Goes, that's fine,  so long as it's birthday themed.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

TIME OUT CHALLENGE #308 CASE the Designer & Celebrating our Birthday

 Hi there Crafty Friends!

It's time for a new TIME OUT CHALLENGE. This week we want you to CASE a gorgeous card made by the uber talented Stef Perry of Perry Papercrafts.   We are also celebrating our 12th Birthday! Woohoo! Read all about the history of Time Out at our blog.

I made 2 cards because I was so inspired by Stef's card!

this is Stef's gorgeous card...

My CASE is very literal, but I love red roses and  so I have probably not changed much from the Muse card, except that I used one flower and Watercolour instead of Copic colouring. In my first card I changed up the layout.

The stamp is one of my very favourite, from Stampers Anonymous, called French Garden.  Is used Karin Markers direct to stamp and blended with water on the stamp and then on the card.
The Embossing Folder is from Stampin Up. The Sentiment in the above card is from Spellbinders.

Instead of a sentiment in this card, I added some script and a label for a Vintage feel and gold splatter.

Waffle Flower Crafts is our generous sponsor offering a $25.00 store credit as a prize for our Challenge Winner, who will also get an invitation to join us as Guest Designer for a future challenge.

We have the very talented Verena Shapiro of Simple Stamper (on Instagram) as Guest Designer for this challenge.
You can see Verena's beautiful card and more inspiration from the rest of our fabulous DT at the TIME OUT CHALLENGES blog.

We are so happy to be celebrating our 12th Birthday and
hope you'll have the opportunity to join us this challenge.

I'm also sharing my card at the following challenges:-
