Seize The Birthday #324 Make a Spring Garden

Hi there Crafty Friends! It's time for another Seize The Birthday Challenge.

Linda is our host for this challenge and her chosen Topping is for us to 'Make a Spring Garden'  on our Birthday card.

If however you are not in to our 'toppings' option, you can make any kind of  Birthday Card.

I used beautiful Penny Black Hollyhock Haven Stamp, but only part of the image. I gold embossed the flowers and  sentiment as well as the edges of the panel. The flowers were watercoloured with Karin Markers.

You can see more from our talented Surprise Party Guest, Jennie  as well as Bonnie, our wonderful Guest Designer and the rest of the team at  Seize the Birthday Challenge blog.

I hope you'll find time to join us. Remember, the topping is optional, so if you prefer Anything Goes, that's fine,  so long as it's birthday themed.

I'm also sharing at the following:-

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

  8. Jenny, your garden is gorgeous! The soft distressing around the edge makes the image even more vintage. This card reminded me both of my grandmother's garden but also an embroidered cloth she'd made with hollyhocks. Thank you for sharing with us at As You See It.
