I used the cute Poppystamps Whittle Ice Cream Die and coloured with Distress Inks. The Embossing Folder is from Stampin Up. The texture of this EF reminded me of Gelati being layered on to cone.
Our Guest Designer this week is the lovely Dawn Turley from Dawn's World.
You can see Dawn's fabulous card and more inspiration from our wonderful DT at the Time Out Challenge blog.

I love this card, Jenny. I totally agree that the EF is perfect for mimicking cold and creamy going into a cone! Great take on our challenge!
ReplyDeleteWhat a yummy card with those cute little ice cream cones! That background is the perfect texture for ice cream too! A great card for our challenge!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute cones! I'm ready for one!
ReplyDeleteLove these ice cream cones with their watercolor look to them. The texture in the background looks exactly like ice cream, too!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese look so yummy Jenny and just love them against the black - they really pop! Your background texture looks great! Fabulous! Hugs, Kate!
ReplyDeleteI love how you colored those scoops of ice cream, Jenny, and they pop on the black panel. Love that embossing folder. I just ordered Simon Hurley's which is similar although I do have an old one that's called fabric and works well too.
ReplyDeleteThose fruity looking flavours look sooo good JennY! Love the fun card with the black background and of course a diamonte! Love it! :)
ReplyDeleteJenny, I am in love with that frosted background! It's perfect for your ice cream cones - which look yummy btw!. Adding the black panel grounds the focal images and makes them pop. Fabulous card
