Hi there Crafty Friends! It's time for another Seize The Birthday Challenge.
Barb is our host for this challenge and she wants us to use 'BLUE, PINK & YELLOW' on our Birthday Card. If you are not in to our "toppings" option, you can make any kind of Birthday Card.
I used Stencils with masks and Distress Oxide Inks, which have a lovely muted look. The butterflies from Stamplorations and the Penny Black sentiment were stamped. Then I embossed the panel to get the ripple effect with an Altenew EF.
You can see more from our own talented Surprise Party Guest, Kathy, from Stamps At Play and the rest of the team at Seize the Birthday Challenge blog.
I hope you'll find time to join us. Remember, the topping is optional, so if you prefer Anything Goes, that's fine, so long as it's birthday themed.

I sure like how you combine all of these colors using stencils for your background. I think it was a great idea and probably quick too.

I love how you've brought all these different textures together. It looks like patchwork. Fun way to utilize stencils that otherwise would not work well together. Great card, Jenny!
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely, Jenny! I like the subtle dimension of the soft ripple.
