Foiled!


I practised adding some foils to images yesterday, because the Mixed Media Card Challenge has foil as an optional element this month. I didn't include it in my first card, but thought I should have a bit of a play. This is my 1st attempt and I will have more to share very soon.

I took some designer paper and spritzed some Color Shine and Dylusion sprays  over it to make it a pretty,  bright home for my shiny butterfly.  I stamped the butterfly  on to black card using a tacky glue and then rubbed really hard on both sides. Then I ran it through a laminator, inside a piece of paper. It's not perfect, but hey,  that's the beauty of Mixed Media! Then I added  the metal embellishment rto the butterfly and the STAMPlorations sentiment.

    Love the bright colours of your spray and stamped background Jenny. So pretty and really perfect to show off your gorgeous butterfly. LOVE the metal embellishment for it's body ... so cool! xx
