I practised adding some foils to images yesterday, because the Mixed Media Card Challenge has foil as an optional element this month. I didn't include it in my first card, but thought I should have a bit of a play. This is my 1st attempt and I will have more to share very soon.
I took some designer paper and spritzed some Color Shine and Dylusion sprays over it to make it a pretty, bright home for my shiny butterfly. I stamped the butterfly on to black card using a tacky glue and then rubbed really hard on both sides. Then I ran it through a laminator, inside a piece of paper. It's not perfect, but hey, that's the beauty of Mixed Media! Then I added the metal embellishment rto the butterfly and the STAMPlorations sentiment. You can see more inspiration at the Mixed Media Card Challenge and join in the fun here. |
