Out to Sea

It's officially the 2nd day of Winter in Australia, although as I type this,  it's sunny and still looking like Autumn outside my window. I'm not complaining!

The first Saturday of the month brings a new challenge at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge and this month, as always the theme is 'Anything Goes', with an option twist to make a 'MASCULINE' card.

I realised about a month ago,  that I didn't have any Penny Black Products that I'd use for a Masculine card, so I decided to splash out and purchase a few goodies:) In this card I have used a gorgeous die.

I used Daniel Smith Watercolours to make the wash and then die cut the panel and layered on the textured base card, that reminds me of sand. Then I die cut and layered 2 pieces of card stock with the Penny Black 'Out to Sea' die. to finish I added the sentiment which is from flora & Fauna. I have purchased some PB sentiments, but haven't received them yet.

If this wasn't a masculine card, I would add some sequins, but I had to resist bling:) This die would be fabulous for a shaker card!
Now, why don't you pop on over to the Penny Black Saturday Challenge blog to get more inspiration for the talented Design Team and then you can enter the challenge here.

I'm also entering the following challenges:-

Anything Goes

Masculine
