Subtle Colours and a Sketch

Hi there. I had a quiet weekend due to being under the weather, so I cheered myself up by making a card today.

I brushed the 2 layers of subtle colours with lightly diluted distress inks and then stamped the flowers from a very old (no longer available) stamp set (Flourishes Bees & Blooms). The sentiment is from Altenew.

I coloured the reverse of the white sequins with Altenew markers to get the matching subtle colour.

I'm entering the following challenges:-

  2. Hello Jenny: Oh my gosh!! As soon as I saw your card, I immediately recognized the stamp you used!!! It's from Flourishes and it's called "Bees and Blossoms" and it was released back in April of 2013.
I love how you colored those stripes and then stamped your flowers, what a beautiful way to interpret out sketch over at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE.
Thank you so much for playing along with us, we hope you come and play again next time.
    Hugs.
