Monochromatic Bird

It's time for a new CAS Watercolour Challenge. Our host this month is Karen and she's challenging us to use monochromatic colours.

I stamped the image with 'Wilted Violet' and 'Seedless Preserve' Distress inks, spritzing and blending on the paper with a wet brush and 'Milled Lavender' D.I. To finish, I sponged the die-cut panel with ink, stamped the sentiment and added some soft splatter and sequins.

The bird stamp is an oldie from Kaisercraft and the sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.

Our Guest Designer this month is the incredibly talented Birgit (Rapport fran ett skrivbord) and I can't wait to see what she creates!
We have some wonderful inspiration at our blog, so I hope you'll hop on over there and join us in this challenge.
