Hi there! It's time for the second challenge of the year for CAS Colours & Sketches. This week is a sketch challenge. Jeanne is our host and has created another lovely CAS sketch for us.
I included some stamping, stencilling and die-cuts in my card...
I smooshed some Distress Oxides and Cosmic Shimmer Powder to make a background. I then added some subtle stencilling and splatter for interest. When dry, I die-cut the panel and added some sweet fish die-cuts with seqin bubbles. To finish I added the sentiment.
Dies: Fish (Alexandra Renke); Stiched Border (Uniquely Creative)
Stencil: Zig Zag (Prima)
Sentiment unknown
I hope you'll pop on over to our blog to see the wonderful creations from our Design Team and be inspired to join us in the challenge.
Jenny I am in complete awe of your watery background - I struggle to create something so pretty and random, yet you made it look effortless! Perfect to display your little fishies too!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great sketch isn't it Jenny! I love your fishy version with those stunning colours. In fact, I used to have a summer dress very similar to this, with that beautiful textured turquoise background and little fish cavorting about all over it! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteSweet! Love this adorable card Jenny! The water is such a beautiful colour and so interesting with the added stenciling and splatters. xx
ReplyDeleteI love your mix of colors and textures in that pristine water. Great card.
ReplyDeleteJenny that background is spectacular! The fish remind me of the fossilized fish you see in rocks. They are nicely graphic and perfect for your water.
