Hi there Crafty Friends! It's time for a new challenge at Time Out. We've changed up our challenge themes this year and for this challenge we want you to Pick (at least) Two from the following - Stitch, layer, heart, food, love, warm.
I've used an old die set from My Favorite Things and a smooshed background for the stitched hearts.
The stitched scallop rectangle die is from Memory Box.
I promised myself I'd make a record of stamps used on my cards, but sadly I've already failed, so I don't know the brand for the sentiment.
(I have 1/2 my supplies at our beach house and 1/2 at home. I think I'll start taking a rough photo of the card with the supplies as soon as I'm done).
I chose stitch, layer, heart and love
You can see Marcia's fabulous card and more inspiration from our wonderful DT at the Time Out Challenge blog.
Lovely colours (why do my smooshed backgrounds never look this good) and fabulous design Jenny! Hugs, Kate!
ReplyDeleteI love your card, Jenny. Those smooshed hearts are fantastic! I would definitely add "layer" to your picks!
ReplyDeleteI love all of your little colourful hearts!!!
ReplyDeleteJenny, your card is so pretty and the stitching looks like you did it on the sewing machine! Your beautiful hearts just pop on the white panel and the black was a great idea too!
ReplyDeleteLovely card and I really like that sentiment too. I know how hard it is to keep the supplies listed xx
ReplyDeleteJenny, I love this card--your smooshed colored hearts are beautiful! The stitching through the line of hearts and the scallops make a great design.
ReplyDeleteThese hearts are so sweet all "hung" on stitches! Love the colors and all the stitching in the background!
ReplyDeleteI love the color you achieved with your smoothing, Jenny. The hearts are beautiful all lined up like that. I know what you mean about listing supplies. I have a book with all my DT challenges listed and try to write info while I'm making the cards. It is especially important when we go to the lake in the summer because my cards are all made ahead and I don't have my studio to go find what I used.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Jenny! I love the colours in your smooched paper. A super design!! Have a good day! :)
