CAS Mix Up - Blackout Technique take 2

Hi there Crafty Friends. I hope you're all having a relaxing and creative weekend.

I just made this card in record time to show how easy this technique it can be.

I de-bossed a piece of patterned paper and then used a brayer and Versafine Clair ink (Twilight) to achieve the 'Blackout'. I left it a bit blotchy to see some of the colour peek through and I don't mind grunge:)
I found the stamped sentiment in my stash and Voila! Oh the card base was also from my stash, from a previously made card I didn't like. I quite like this unusual colour scheme.

Supplies: Altenew Gentle Butterfly 3D Embossing Folder and One Go Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set

The challenge ends today, so why don't you make a quick card too. If you don't have a brayer/roller then you can swipe the ink pad over the de-bossed background.

Our wonderful Guest Designer, Darnell and the rest of the Team have
some fabulous inspiration for you.
