Runway Inspired & MFW Ombre & Speech Bubble challenges

Yay! It's a gorgeous Autumn day here in Melbourne, crisp morning and now glorous sunshine, but not too hot. Ahhh, I think I might get outside to get some vitamin D!

Today I have made an Easter card. I had some wooden bunnies and I decided to alter one using a gradient of glitters to make an ombre effect, then I added the sentiment in a speech bubble.

Its a bit hard to see, but there are 5 shades of glitter, the difference in the last 2 is minimal.
I decided to mount the embellishments on acetate.
The silhouette effect is cute!

  1. Thank you so much for the sweetest comments yesterday. You made my day! This card is perfect in everyway. From the glitter bunny, to the transparent background. So cute!

  2. What a totally clever design and a great way to combine the challenges, your ombre bunny is adorable (at least you won't have to write too much on the card lol).

  3. Love the clear design. Very clever!

  4. Can we just get a round of applause here, folks?! Geez, Jenny, I love this to pieces!!

  5. That ombre effect in the glitter is so cool...love this unique card! Thanks so much for joining us on the Runway!
