OCC Watercolour Homework Day 4

Just a quick post with another homework card for the Watercolour class.

I have used a Penny Black Brushstrokes stamp and distress markers, blended with pearlised water to get the Iris image and lots of splatter.  the green panel was coloured with distress markers.

I am adding  this to Virginia's View challenge #3 which is all about sewing on cards.
The theme at SSS Wednesday Challenge is Spring Flowers
, so I can enter there as well.

Hint: If you can't sew straight - then make it obviously freehand and go around 2 or 3 times!

  1. Love your stitching for the oval image, Jenny! The machine stitching really is awesome and detailed! I adore that green panel, too! Great job on the stamping with water and Distress Inks! Thanks SEW much for playing Virgina's View Challenge!

  2. This is lovely, Jenny! I like the watercoloured irises and they are framed perfectly by the freehand stitched oval.

  4. Jenny, all of your watercolor cards have been sensational, but this one really blew me away!! I love how the green panel is done in such a way that it looks like a rich suede. The whole design is fab! I think doing the stitching that way is genius!!! This should be hung on the wall! Hugs, Darnell
