Hi there! I'm having fun making cards on a rainy day in Melbourne. We're finally catching up on the rain we should have had in April, so hopefully the gardens will soak it all up.
Although it's raining, there's no rainbow, so I thought I'd paint my own...

I had several attempts at this card. At first I had a smaller rainbow, but in the end I realised that the Rainbow should fill the cloche and then I found a sentiment to match (although the spelling annoys me). I used Zig Markers and a wet brush to paint the rainbow. The image stamps are from Flora & Fauna and the sentiment is from Altenew.
I'm entering the following callenges:- |
Fabulous cloche card Jenny - and I agree about the spelling on the sentiment ;-)! Love your rainbow.

Your rainbow filled cloche is absolutely beautiful Jenny, and love how you kept the house so simple in just black and white so that the rainbow takes center stage! Had to chuckle about the comment about the spelling of the word "color"...guess I'm too American as I have trouble getting used to adding a "u" to the word when I'm signing off at CAS Watercolour! But colour is colour no matter what way you spell it, and I'm loving your rainbow colours!! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour!! :0)
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny. Had a laugh about your comment on the spelling of the sentiment. It just looks wrong. :) Love this sweet rainbow cloche. So perfect that you kept everything else black and white so the focus is on your gorgeous rainbow. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat looks wrong to you looks right to me! We have our differences but we agree on art! And this is a work of art, Jenny! Love that rainbow centered in the black and white!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for sharing with us at CAS Watercolour!
ReplyDeleteYes they forgot the "u" in colour didn't they? ;) Great water-colouring with your Zigs. Thanks for sharing your awesome card with us at Addicted to Stamps and More and I look forward to seeing more of your wonderful creations again soon! Hugs, Gwendolyn
