Twofer Balloons

I finally had some time to make some cards for the latest Twofer Card Challenge. The theme this month is 'BALLOONS' and my first thought was hot-air balloons.

I've had the balloon stamps for a few years. They are from Hampton Art.

The first card is a going away/travel card and I used distress inks. The sentiment is from Impression Obsession Stamps. I added a bit of splatter just for fun:)

This time I made a CAS card, stamping the biggest balloon with Delicata Gold Ink.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Concord & 9th and the other sentiment is from The Ton Stamps.

  1. The travel card looks fabulous stamped with the distress inks and gives a vintage look to your marvellous card. The second card is so classy and CAS perfection. What great stamping and striking stamps on your two stunning cards x

  2. That's a cool hot air balloon set! I love how you stamped the balloons in rainbow colors on your travel card and added the schplatters! And, wow, Jenny, you got great coverage with your Delicata Gold on your birthday card! Very chic and CASlicious! Both cards are perfect for any age and any gender! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #14! Hugs, Darnell

  3. What a fun going away/travel card, Jenny ... all those hot air balloons in luscious colours really do give the impression of someone floating off, off and away! The single balloon is fabulous in Delicata Gold ... the shimmer and shine is fantastic ... such a wonderful focal point on your CAS birthday card! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! 5. These are some beautiful old-timey balloons! All the color and movement of your first card suggests the wonder and adventure of travel in such a delightful way. That's some incredible gold ink on your second card! I've never seen it in action before, but have now added it to my shopping list. Thanks for giving the name of it, and thanks so much for sharing your lovely cards in our Twofer Balloons challenge!

  6. Such beautiful balloons, they remind me of the Around the World in 80 Days story. I love how you filled the sky with those brilliant colors on your travel card. That gold is so amazing! I thought you heat embossed it until I read it was Delicata - I love that it shows all the fine details of the stamp and has that shimmer! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
