Border Collie Birthday Card

My daughter asked me to make a birthday card with this dog as the inspiration...

cute!!!

She wanted me to use the following Clearly Besotted stamp (Puppy Love)...

Well I love this stamp, but I'll admit I struggled to get the colouring right and of course it doesn't look anything like a Border Collie.

So I tried again with a stamp designed by my friend Shirley for Stamplorations.
I decided to put him in a garden setting.

Stamps: Stamplorations (The Bees Knees) Pets
Art Impressions (Watercolour) Bench Set
Penny Black (wood mount) Fantasy
Hero Arts (Feb 2018 Kit) Sentiment

Die: Spellbinders

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:-

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

  1. Both cards are lovely Jenny, but I must admit the second one looks the most like your 'model'! I love how you have mounted the first pup, especially the double framing.

  4. You've done a fantastic job of coloring both of these pooches, Jenny! Love the little puppy against the splash background and the layered frames! Such a stately and dignified dog in the garden! Your daughter will be happy with both, I'm sure.
