Vellum Birthday Card

Hi there. I've been having lot's of fun playing with vellum paper this month. This one is for AAA Birthday Challenge...

I stamped and heat embossed some of the foliage and the vase on vellum and then fussy cut the images.  I also stamped the foliage , sentiment and border on to the base card.
Next I stamped the flowers and fussy cut.
I cut a notch in the top of the vase to insert the flowers and then arranged it all on the base card. I used glue behind the embossed bits.
The flowers and vase were coloured with Zig Marvkrs and Wink of Stella.

Stamps: Altenew 'Pen Sketched Flowers', 'Versatile Vases', 'Leaf Canopy'
Mama Elephant (Border)

I'm sharing at the following:-

  4. I love the soft and airy look of the vellum flowers and leaves Jenny! Gorgeous card. So clever to cut a slit to insert flower stems. And love the striped gray border. xx
