Welcome to my first post as an official Design Team member for CAS Colours & Sketches. I am so thrilled to be joining this talented team!
This week is a colour challenge, hosted by Jeanne. It's such a pretty colour combo I couldn't wait to get started.
I stamped the butterfly with Zig Markers directly on the stamp, spritzing with water. I used a dark grey around the edges to add definition. I then coloured in the image with Twinkling H2Os, which made it lovely and shimmery. The butterfly was then clear embossed and fussy cut. I die-cut the bottom corner of the card-front and then matted with the same card and a teal card-base. The sentiment was stamped on a strip of card-stock and added to card with dimensional tape. A few rhinestones added a touch of bling.
I wonder what you think of when you see these colours? I hope you'll visit the CC&S Blog to see what the rest of the team have created and will be inspired to make your own CAS card using these colours.
