CAS Colours & Sketches #403

Hi there! It's time for the second challenge of the year for CAS Colours & Sketches. This week is a colour challenge.  Jeanne is our host and has created a pretty colour combo for us.

I thought Spring when I saw these colours, so I decided to created a big colourful bloom!

I stamped and white heat-embossed the Poppy on plain white card and again on watercolour for the flower head.  The image was coloured with Zig Markers and an Aquabrush.  The sentemint and butterfly were stamped with Zig Markers.
Stamps: Poppy (Penny Black); Butterfly (Darkroom Door)
Die: Frame (Mama Elephant)

I hope you'll pop on over to our blog to see the wonderful creations from our Design Team and be inspired to join us in the challenge.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog! I love to read your comments:)

  1. Such a pretty poppy image Jenny and I love the way you coloured it to make the petals look fragile like a real poppy. The sentiment and the butterfly being in the same colour really balances out that large flower. Vicky x
