Hi their Crafty Friends! I've been a bit quiet here on the blog, but I've still been crafting in the background. Today I'm sharing some cards inspired by a few challenges.
I used a gorgeous stamp and co-ordinating stencil set from Pinkfresh Studio to create this first card.
I'm definitely sold on these type of products! I usually watercolour images, but the stencils make it so easy to sponge the colours and it's so quick!
I die-cut the window, creating the matte and used very old chipboard stickers for the number.
The image was coloured with distress Oxide Inks and then I re-stamped to get a stronger outline.
Stamp/Stencils: Pinkfresh Studio Delicate Floral Print; Newton's Nook Sentiment

Next I wanted to make a CAS card and used Spellbinder Dies, coloured with Copic Markers.
I am pretty chuffed with the result.

I stamped and coloured the flower and butterfly with Karin and Zig Markers. The white panel was embossed with a die.
Stamps: SU Hydrangea Haven, SU Butterfly Brilliance

I'm sharing at the following challenges:-
Card 1
Card 2
Card 3
Three really pretty cards and I love the stamping and co-ordinating stencil Jenny, on the first card and as you say it makes it so quick but so very beautiful x.
ReplyDeleteThree truly wonderful cards, I especially like card 2. I have to make a card for a 90 year old and I think this has just inspired me, so thank you, it might get cased xx
ReplyDeleteJenny these are stunning - all three of them, but the 80yr old one really takes the cake

Love the bright flowers on the first card! The sweet flowers decorate the 80 so beautifully on the second and the hydrangea and butterfly are gorgeous on the third card! Looks like you've been busy!
ReplyDeleteStunning looking cards Jenny, all three of them, but particularly the first. My favourite. Thank you so much for joining us at The Flower Challenge and we hope to see you there again soon. Aileen DesignTeam
ReplyDeleteI love the first card '50' - it reminds me of an Amish pattern.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collection of cards. I love using PinkFresh Studio's layering stencils too - it makes it appear that I have more skill than I have. I like your use of black on the first card. Thanks for joining us at Addicted to Stamps and More!

Beautiful cards, Jenny! I love them all but think my favorite is #2 with the CAS design and bright flowers on the die cut numbers. Thanks so much for sharing both of these beauties with us at The Flower Challenge this month!
ReplyDeleteThree gorgeous cards Jenny! The bright colours with the edgy black are lovely on the first two and I really like the way you kept the flower and the butterfly the same colours on the third! Thank you for coming to play with us at Addicted to CAS! Vicky x
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards, Jenny. I especially love the bold 80 with those pretty florals adorning it! So glad you shared this with us at Addicted to CAS this week
