So here is the card I originally made for this challenge, but couldn't post last week, because I forgot to photograph it.

I coloured the image with Zig Markers.

We are so happy to have the incredibly talented Tenia,  from Jazzy Paper Designs joining us as Guest Designer for this challenge. You can see Tenia's gorgeous card and more inspiration from our  fabulous DT at the TIME OUT CHALLENGES blog.

Time Out Challenge #277 IBW

Hey there Crafty Friends! It's time for a Time Out Inspired by Words Challenge and we have a great quote to inspire you.. "There truly is not an occasion that is not improved by wearing something festive".

Well, I bought a stamp especially for this challenge, but sadly I'm away from home and forgot to take a photo of my card. So I here is my second choice...

The stamp is from Stamplorations and I had to do some fiddly fussy cutting.
I think they look quite festive and could be going to a Christmas Ball.

Our wonderful sponsor is Top Flight Stamps. Our challenge winner as chosen by the Design Team will receive a $25.00 Store Credit as a prize from Top Flight Stamps.

We are so happy to have the incredibly talented Tenia,  from Jazzy Paper Designs joining us as Guest Designer for this challenge. You can see Tenia's gorgeous card and more inspiration from our  fabulous DT at the TIME OUT CHALLENGES blog.
I hope you have the opportunity to join in our challenge

The Card Concept #211 Thankful Blessings (Nov '24)

Hello there Crafty Friends! It's time for another challenge at The Card concept The theme this month is

'THANKFUL BLESSINGS'.

I was inspired by the metallics and the Fall leaves in the photo to make this CAS card.

I made a second card and fussy cut the leaves, layering them on an embossed background.

Hotfoil Plates are from Spellbinders and the images was water-coloured with Karin Markers.
Remember, an inspiration photo is exactly that- a starting point for inspiration. Will it be the colours, the overall theme, the texture, the actual items and/or something else that will inspire your card?

I hope you'll visit The Card Concept Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the team has created and will be inspired to play along in the challenge with us.

Choose a design style (or combine styles), create a card, and in your blog post, let us know what inspired you from the photo, what style and/or styles you chose and don't forget to display our inspiration photo and link back to our challenge.

I'm sharing my second card at the following challenges:-

Thanks/Thanksgiving

The trees were stamped twice, to make a shadow, first with black and then off-set a touch to the side in white and embossed.
