Case Study Challenge #156 - KathyRacoosin

Well I think I must have been living under a rock! I had heard of Kathy by name, but wasn't familiar with her work, so thanks so much Chupa for introducing me to such an amazingly talented crafter!

So Kathy Racoosin is the new muse at Case Study Challenge and this week's card is so amazing!

When I chose to use this stamp for my card, I was planning to leave the outline of the flower and leaves white,  but my skills with copic markers is not that good and I went over the line a few times, so I decided to use yellow.
For the background, I have created any shading, because I din't have the right colours to get the effect, but I', quite happy with the bright, bold effect.
The stamp and the butterfly die are from Penny Black.

Moxie Fab World - TT Honoring Ombre take 2

Just popping in to enter another card for the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger. This time I have used different colours from the photo, because I wanted to play with stencils and Pan Pastels.

I used 2 different stencils - not sure if you'll notice.  Firstly I used the lattice background and then I laid the handwriting stencil over the top and added a little bit of writing.
The sentiment is from WPlus( and the butterfly die is from Penny Black. By the way, the Pan Pastels work beautifully on this canvas paper from Canson.

Less is More - Use a rubber Stamp

I haven't played at Less is More for a quite a while and I have missed it! The challenge this week is to use a rubber stamp and include water colour. I wasn't sure if cling stamps counted so I didn't use my penny Black, but instead used a very old stamp that I found at a local market(no brand).

I used Archival black ink to stamp the poppies and then coloured with inktense pencils. I outlined the image with a marvy pen and stamped some text over the image in silver.
I spritzed the paper with some sea glass glimmer mist.
The sentiment is from Stampin Up.
I decided to go for black in the base card because it made the colours pop more.
Hope there's enough white space Chrissie!

Case Study Challenge - Jennifer's last week

I really love the Case Study Challenge! It's so much fun to be able to case cards by such talented artists and the design team never disappoint with their inspiration!

This is the last week for Jennifer McGuire as muse - here is her stunning card...

And here is my take ...

I stampedPenny Black's diamond background with  versamark ink and then coloured it with Pan Pastels.
My card doesn't have as much white space as Jennifer's, but I really love the vibrancy of Pan Pastels!
The butterflies are from Studio Calico and the sentiment is from WPlus9.
ETA: I'm also entering this in the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Anything goes
