Case Study Challenge - Week 3 with Julia

I'm back with a card for this weeks Case Study challenge, which is the 3rd week with Julia Stainton as the muse. Her card is so bright and cheerful and originally I was planning to use the orange/pink colour combo, but I was influenced also by Julia's case of her own card, so I decided to use this gorgeous bird image and a completely different colour scheme.

Julia's card we have to case

Julia's case of of her original card

The bird image paper is from 7 Gypsies and the shiny blue woodgrain is
from Bella! The woodgrain letters are from American Crafts and the button
is from an Op Shop. I used liquid pearls to change the colour of the pin to match the card.

I'm also entering this in the Moxie Fab World 'Alpha stickers' challenge.

  1. Beautiful card! Love the woodgrain letters!

  2. Gorgeous card. Love that background and your letter. What a great idea using the liquid pearls!

  3. Way to use the alpha stickers! Love the sentiment. The bird image is so sweet too! Thanks for playing with us at CASE Study! xx

  4. Great vintage/shabby feel to this card, Jen, and I love that colour scheme.
